If there ever was a time to listen to some new podcasts, it’d be now. I’ve always been a fan of podcasts – listening to them on my lunch breaks, during workouts or while working. But since lockdown came into action, and I’ve been working from home a lot more, I’ve been reaching for my podcasts a lot more often.
From the comedy podcasts that give you a giggle, to the more informative podcasts, these are some of my favourites right now:
My favourite podcasts right now
Girls in Marketing
Girls in Marketing is a brand new podcast from Olivia, Emma and Suzie. The Girls in Marketing community is something I only very recently discovered, and focuses on all the amazing women working in the world of marketing. They have a website with loads of super useful resources, a blog and a new jobs board too.
While only one episode into the new podcast, I know this is going to be a really useful and informative series for me. I love what Girls in Marketing stand for, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the leading girls more, and finding out more about this industry I work in,
Sh**ged Married Annoyed
Could I really put together a podcast recommendations list without mentioning Sh**ged Married Annoyed by Chris and Rosie Ramsey? Honestly, this weekly podcast is the only podcast I listen to religiously, and I’m SO glad recent episodes have been a little longer so I can drag them out to carry me through the week.
Sh**ged Married Annoyed is the ideal pick me up podcast, with hilarious features like what’s your beef? and questions from the public, this isn’t one for the light-hearted, but I can assure you’ll get a giggle out of it.
The Reciepts Podcast
The Receipts Podcast is your ultimate agony-aunt/girl talk podcast led by Audrey, Tolly and Melina. The Receipts listeners will write in with their problems, experiences or situations, and the girls will offer advice or guidance.
Each episode is at least 40+ minutes which is the ideal time for a workout or a tidy-up, so I love to pop this on to take my mind away while I get things done.
Happy Place
Happy Place by Fearne Cotton is a podcast I’ll often dip in and out of when I see one I like the look of. On Happy Place, Fearne interviews many celebrities on their life experiences, often touching on some challenging subjects, and questions what happiness means to them.
Social Minds
Social Minds is a really quick and informative podcast for me. Working in social and having a keen interest in all things social media, I like to keep up to date with the latest happenings in the digital world. This is a great podcast to pop on while doing a quick task and helps me keep up to date with what I need to know.

What are your favourite podcasts?
