I don’t know about you, but despite this windy, rainy and snowy weather we’ve been having recently, I’m super excited by the days drawing out longer and the brighter mornings. Spring is teasing us, and the high street is too. Spring/summer fashion is slowly coming in online and I’m hoping a compilation of the best pieces out there right now will usher the weather to pick up too…

Yellow fit and flair poplin dress | Check bow back puff blouse | KNOT pink nylon shoulder bag | Ivory spot print high neck tiered dress | V neck strappy top | Puff-sleeved denim dress | Paperbag shorts | Yellow editor straight jeans | Black spot print pinafore jumpsuit
There are a few very evident trends in this selection of items: pastels and puff sleeves are still very much still ‘in’. And as is spots (let’s be honest, spots will never not be in).
It’s clear I’m a lover of yellow – it always has been one of my favourite colours to style. The yellow fit and flair poplin dress is just s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g and would be the perfect little day dress paired with trainers in the summer, but could be just as well dressed up with some heels for the evening: an all-rounder. Also, have I mentioned I’m a straight-jeans girl now? Comfy and flattering, I think I might have to extend my collection with a pair a little bit different…
The yellow would also look amazing colour-blocked with this pink shoulder bag from Topshop. Is it not just the perfect shade of pink?!
The black spot print pinafore from Miss Selfridge is calling my name. The ultimate ‘I don’t know what to wear, I just want to be comfy’, piece, I feel like this is a staple in any wardrobe. More of a dress than a pants girl? Then the ivory spot print midi dress will do just a good of a job for you.
