Since when did Sainsbury’s get so fashionable? I popped into my local store a few weeks back and just by chance, the TU clothing section caught my eye. We all know I’m a total sucker for a good blazer (note to self: share blog post on blazer collections), and when I saw this gorgeous neutral gingham number staring back at me, I knew it was love at first sight.
You can imagine my delight when I realised this wasn’t just a blazer, but in fact part of a co-ord. There’s something brilliant about co-ords… hundreds of outfit possibilities from just two items. If there was any doubt in my mind having just seen the blazer, the matching shorts confirmed I would be spending more than just my weekly shop on this Sainsbury’s visit.

I sized up in the blazer to a size 12, as the 10 was still a little too fitted for my liking. And for the shorts, I stuck to a size 10. The blazer cost me £28, and the shorts £16.
Styling the co-ord together, I kept a neutral vibe going, pairing the look with a white cropped tank top, a pair of braided sliders from H&M, and my cream valentino bag*. The sliders made this more of a day time look, but chuck a pair of heels or wedges on, and you’re good to go into the evening.

Make sure you’re following my instagram to see what other looks I create with the co-ord, and don’t be so fast to dismiss your local supermarket’s clothing section next time you head off for the weekly shop!
Are any of your favourite clothing pieces from the supermarket?
