We love a to-do list here in the house of Cole’s. Well, I love a to-do list, and in February there are a few to-do’s on that list. Here they are:
Get studying
I’ve officially started my IDM course in Digital Marketing. Part terrified, part wondering why I’d put myself back into education, studying and exams voluntarily, but most part excited. I know when I was at high school and university I absolutely loved studying. I find something really relaxing about getting your favourite pens out and drawing a few mind maps out creating a few quiz cards. I’ve had my first 3 intensive study days now, so the next step is to get that information down to a tee, and get my first assignment handed in this month (eek).
Fortunately, my work is amazing and are giving me half a day each week to study, meaning not ALL of my home time will be spent glued to my computer screen. February is all about working this process out and learning how best to pass the course.
House hunt
Yup, it’s happening. Jamie and I are on a house hunt! I’m feeling super anxious about the fact I’m studying and trying to get a qualification while house hunting, but I know buying a house is such a long process that it probably won’t have that much of an impact anyway.
I don’t want to say I want to find a house in February because I don’t want to rush the process – I know we’ll only get a house that we’re both 100% happy with, so the to-do here is to just have a look around and do some more viewings at least.
Celebrate Valentines
I know Valentines isn’t for everyone, but I love a good excuse for a fancy date night. I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed with a lot of things right now, so I’m looking forward to spending some time with Jamie, just the two of us.
I’m not sure if we’ll go out for dinner or opt for a night in with Pizza, but as long as we have an evening of just us two, no stress, and lots of cuddles, I’ll be a happy bunny
Bulk plan some more blog content
At the beginning of the year I was super organised and spent a couple of days bulk planning and writing some content for January. I’m not doing too bad with this whole planning ahead and scheduling in, but I want to keep on top of it this month, especially with my course taking up a lot of time. I want to make sure I schedule in a couple of evenings or weekends to get next month’s content written.
