I can’t believe it was March that I did my last jewellery collection update! Before summer completely escapes us (how it is August already??), here’s what’s in my summer jewellery collection this year – with goodies from John Greed, Daisy and Belle and Beau.
I’m not the kind of person that will buy new jewellery often, but there have been a few wonderful brands recently that have sent me some pieces that have fast become some of my favourites to wear.
John Greed is a brand I was introduced to just before Christmas. Not only do they stock brands like Nomination, Swarvoski and Thomas Sabo, but they also have their own range too.
I’ve been eager to expand on my gold jewellery recently, to go with the Missoma pieces that I wear daily, so I picked up the below: two rings, some earrings and gorgeous turquoise necklace.
Carrying on with the dainty theme is the Sia Gold Plated Hammered Disc Silver Earrings – different to any earrings I own because rather than studs, these are drop chain earrings meaning you just thread them through your piercing. Bit of a weird concept at first but they look stunning on!
The final piece I got from John Greed was the Neith Gold Plated Silver Enamel Layered Necklace. Turquoise has always been a favourite colour of mine when it comes to jewellery, so I couldn’t resist this.
Discovering some new brands…
Other key jewellery pieces I’ve been loving recently are the Be Bold Disc Earrings from Belle and Beau, as well as their Infinity Toggle Bracelet. I’ve always avoided bracelets before now because of their clunkiness and the fact most slip odd my wrists, but the daintiness and toggle fastening on this make it so easy to wear that I’ve barely taken it off.
Two statement necklaces that have been firm favourites recently are the Daisy 18CT Gold Plate Seashell necklace and the L initial necklace I bought from an independent seller on Instagram. Both of these are a little longer in length and look beautiful layered with my Missoma favourites.
What are some of your favourite summer jewellery pieces?
