*The Latest in Beauty box was gifted to me, however, I was under no obligation to post. All opinions remain 100% honest.
The Latest in Beauty box is something I’ve always been aware of, but never got my hands on, until now that is. Latest in Beauty give you the ultimate ‘try before you buy’ in all things beauty – whether it be make-up, skincare or haircare.
Latest in Beauty is simple. First, you set up your profile with all your beauty preferences. They then collaborate with some of the leading, and new and upcoming brands within the beauty industry. You then opt to choose 3, 6 or 9 products each month in a build-your-own box, so you know exactly what you’re getting for your money.
Latest in Beauty also do Collections too though – special edition boxes where they collaborate with key brands. This month they’re collaborating with Grazia on two collections – the Repair and Renew Edit, and the Glow Edit.
I am super fortunate in that the lovely team at Latest in Beauty gifted me the Glow Edit collection, so I thought I’d give you the low down of this amazing collaboration…
For £40, the Grazia Glow Edit has 9 different products, is worth £165 and of those 9 products, 5 are full size. We’re already onto a winner here. So what’s inside?!
First up is a DRY mask by Miss de Gaspe x Beautycon. It’s called the Hydrate & Glow – Hydrating and Illuminating Dry Mask which I am SO intrigued to try. How can a hydrating mask be dry?! This claims to leave skin instantly more hydrated and glowy.
Next, is the ExfoliKate Intensive Treatment – an exfoliator from Kate Somerville. Kate Somerville is a brand I’ve pondered across before but never purchased from, so this will be a good taster, (especially considering this is £72 full size)! This exfoliator is a quick fix promising brighter, healthier looking skin in just two minutes.
Everyone loves a bit of GlamGlow right, and how could this be a Glow Edit without the ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment? This is a treatment with hyaluronic acid to help plump, revive and nourish the skin.
With lots of glow and plenty of sun – you need some protection. The Dermologica Prisma Protect has an SPF of 30 and is a multi-tasking product, Not only does it defend skin against ageing it also contained light-activated technology to boost luminosity… fancy or what?
Next is the Foreo Night Cleanser – another brand I’ve been dying to try. The Night Cleanser is a bedtime cleanser that melts into a milk on the skin, and works to dissolve the day’s make-up and grime.
James Read is a brand I was already aware of and love, so I was more than happy to receive the H20 Tan Drops for the body. Drop this into your body moisturiser for a streak-free tan. I already have the face version of this and it works a treat – so no doubt the body one will too. See my favourite tan right now here.
The sixth product is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Whipped Body Balm. Doesn’t that just sound so luxurious?! This is your classic moisturiser to be used overnight to replenish the skin with hydration. This is probably one of the cheaper items in the box, retailing at around £3-4 usually.
Next, is the Glycolic Fix Night Pads from NIP&FAB. These are perfect for travelling with – they’re handy pads with glycolic acid to help de-clog pores and exfoliate dull skin with one wipe!
And finally, the last product in the Glow Edit is the Nordic-C Glow Reveal Peeling Mask from Lumene. This mask contained Vitamin C, glycolic and lactic acid to help brighten, tone and reinvigorate the skin’s surface for ultimate radiance!
As my first ever Latest in Beauty Box, I’m so impressed with what I’ve received. Knowing this box would cost £40, with the contents being worth over £165, you can’t deny it’s a great deal! What more, the fact that you know what you’re getting is a real bonus over other beauty boxes like Glossybox. I’m looking forward to giving these goodies a go and hopefully be converted to some new brands!
Have you ever had a Latest in Beauty box?
