Being an avid Urban Decay eyeshadow palette fan already, it was a no brainer that I’d be picking up Naked Honey when it hit the shelves last year. If there ever was a palette made for me, Naked Honey would be it. As the name suggested, Naked Honey is full of golds, orange and brown shades in both matter and sparkle.

Naked Honey: The review
Starting with the packaging, I think this is my favourite of all the palettes so far. Sticking with the metallic case, this is sturdy, easy to keep clean and just gorgeous to look at, so the perfect dressing table accessory.
Like the majority of Naked palettes, you get a mix of mattes, shimmers and metallics, which makes this a real versatile palette and ideal to take away on travels.
Starting at the lighter end of the palette you’ve got Flyby, a neutral beige, the perfect base shade to build on.
Next is Sweet, a nude matte which can be used nicely for a transitioning shades.
With Swarm, we start to move into the warmer tones of this palette. This is a classic matte orange shade, ideal for day-to-day wear.
Amber is the first metallic shade of the palette, a gorgeous copper shade which is really pigmented and a dream to work with.
Next is Keeper, which is a deeper matter orange than Swarm.
Golden is another metallic shade. This is a warm gold which is a staple of mine in the palette.
Moving into the second half of the palette, Honey is a gorgeous light gold metallic.
Queen is the darkest gold metallic of the lot, with almost hints of khaki in it.
Back to mattes, Hive is warm brown, a favourite of mine for a matte-neutral eye.
Drip is a slightly darker matte brown, the perfect crease shade for deepening any look.
The last shimmer in Naked Honey is Hbic. This is a gorgeous copper shade.
And finally, we have Sting, a dark matte brown
So they’re the shades. What did I actually think about the palette?
Honestly, this is probably my favourite Naked palette so far. I’m definitely a more bronze/copper eye girl, so I always knew I’d prefer Urban Decay Naked Honey over my Naked 2 palette, but I really do love this. Every single shade in the palette is completely wearable for me, which can be hard to find.
It’s got the perfect mix of mattes and shimmers, and so many combinations to work with too. A favourite look of mine is Hive/Drip in the crease and a mix of Amber and Golden on the lid.
Lasting power is great, like all Naked palettes, with my eyeshadow still intact at the end of the day.
So I enjoyed it. Do you have Naked Honey? What’s your favourite eyeshadow palette?
Lucy x
