Get ready for a very photo-heavy post ladies and gents! When Pretty Little Thing got in touch with me a few weeks ago and asked me to create two looks for ‘A Day at the Races’ I jumped at the chance! I was offered two outfits form the Races category on their page, and these are the beauties I created!
The first of the two outfits was this super gorgeous Rose Bandage Frill Hem dress, paired with some classic White Strap Heels. I absolutely adore this dress – from it’s shape and length, and to the colour. I actually ordered this last year for my Netball ball, but ended up going for a different pink number, but boy am I excited to be reunited with this beauty! Everyone knows that the races are an ultimate dress-up occasion and I don’t think you can get more dressy than this!
For the second outfit I decided to switch things up a bit. I went for a more monochrome look, with this Black Bardot Frill Bodysuit, paired with these White Wide Leg Trousers and then some classic Patent Nude Heels to finish the look off. To spice this outfit up a little more, and to add a pop of colour, I added my Primark Red Tassel Earrings, and paired these with a bright red lip! I loved the idea of wearing trousers but still feeling super dressed up and glam – the wide leg and high waist of these are so flattering, and whats even better is you don’t need to shave your legs, win win!!
Thank you SO much to Pretty Little Thing for gifting me these items – I had so much fun styling them and can’t wait to get myself off to the races in them soon!
What’s you’re favourite outfit for the races?
