Have a nosey: Room tour

Thursday, 5 January 2017

I love having a nosey at other peoples rooms, and my room at home in Ipswich is something that I'm actually really proud of! Being the youngest of 3 siblings, I had the smallest room of the lot. But when my oldest brother moved out for university a few years back, I was allowed to move into his room and redecorate! It took a very long time but I'm so happy with how it looks now. It's such a bright, room, perfect for working in. I spend pretty much all my time in here!

My desk is made from two drawers from IKEA and a glossy table top, and the mirror is from amazon. I love how deep my desk is because it means I can spread all my work out in front of me with plenty of space. I picked up the chair for a bargin off ebay, my weekly planner is from notonthehighstreet, bottle from hydratem8 and all my little pots of hair clips etc are things I've found over the years!

My canvas was a gift from my bezzies a few years back, from Next. I absolutely love maps so it was the perfect present!! The other copper photo frame was another gift, I believe from New Look. I have a load of other frames at my university bedroom. Living in two places at once can be such a pain but it's nice not to come back to an empty room when I do come home!

What do you think of my room? What cute room details do you have in yours?

  1. Your room is so beautiful! Mine is currently dark blue (which I hate) and I'm super jealous of how bright and airy this looks! It's made me even more eager to get down to B&Q and get some white paint haha.

    1. Thanks Kim! I made my desk myself, just bought two of those drawers and plonked that white gloss tabletop on top - it's perfect!

  11. I love how you've made a smaller space look so light and airy. I want to get the desk and drawers from that range at Ikea as soon as I've got my own house! Can't wait to decorate a make up/work room with the same aesthetics as yours! Love it!
