24HR MAYBELLINE COLOUR TATTOO EYESHADOW IN METALLIC POMEGRANATE, ON AND ON BRONZE & ETERNAL GOLD
When you're in a rush in the morning, eyeshadow can be a real annoyance. I'll whack out my palette, brush on whatever shade I'm feeling and just as I'm finished I'll realise I've covered not only my eyelids with the eyeshadow, but also my cheeks too. Damn that fall-out. I got these cream eyeshadows last year and boy, I'm so glad I did.
I started my collection with On and On Bronze, being a massive bronze lover and got on with it instantly. This shade is that typical summery bronze and is, and will continue to be my favourite and most used. For Christmas I got Metallic Pomegranate and Eternal Gold. Metallic Pomegranate is a cranberry shade which at first I was a bit scared of trying, I don't quite know why now! I can tell it would look beautiful on a brown eye. Eternal Gold is a bit less pigmented than the other two, but great nonetheless. A bog-standard shimmer gold. I love using this as a base underneath a pinky shade from my Naked 3 palette, it gives a beauty pink gold look!
The quality of all of these are excellent, great pigmentation and easy to use. I love the upmarket glass packaging, although some have said if the lids not on right it can dry out so be careful of that! Each colour can be built up for the desired look and they blend beautifully. They cost £4.99 from Superdrug/Boots and are definitely worth trying!

JUMPER - PRIMARK // JACKET - ASOS // LEGGINGS - FOREVER 21 // BOOTS - TOPSHOP
These leggings were a bit of a bargain at just £4, but I've just really struggled wearing them! I can't stand wearing leggings unless I have something to cover my bum, is it just me?! I also don't think I'll ever get bored of this burgandy jumper & denim jacket combo, I love the two colours together so much!

JACKET - NEW LOOK // TOP* - OASAP // JEANS & SHOES - TOPSHOP
Don't you love it when a top does the accesorising for you?! This gorgeous top from Oasap does just this. You don't need to worry about what necklace looks right with this, making life a whole lot easier. I'm not sure why but I can see this being a perfect outfit to go out with some friends in for a cheeky glass of wine (fruit juice for me - don't drink underage kids!) and a catch up! Apologies for the awful lighting in these photos - I was too lazy to get 'made up' when there was natural sunlight!

Recently I've seen a lot of all-black outfits. Everbody knows black will alway looks good right?! It's become apparent I'm loving the croc/snakeskin print seeing as 3 of these items are those textures! I bought a snakeskin tee with leather sleeves in the Asos sale a while back and I'm a bit nervous to wear it because it's a bit out there - but I'm looking forward to being a bit daring!!

NAKED BASICS PALETTE - DEBENHAMS
Ever since I started watching videos and reading blogs I've wanted a Naked palette. With the Naked Basics palettebeing the most affordable at just £20 and most versatile, it was the first one I bought, and I haven't stopped using it since. I use at least 3 of the shades every single day. Four of the five are matte, with 'Venus' having a slight shimmer.
I tend to use Venus on my inner corners and brow bown to give a subtle highlight. The next two colour are 'Foxy' and 'Walk Of Shame' both very neutral shades, with Foxy a more yellowy tone and WOS a more pinky shade. I tend to use these over the whole of my lid just to even it all out. Next is 'Naked 2', probably the most used in the palette. It's a light brown colour which I always use to fill in my brows - being blonde I find it hard to find a good colour as my brows are slightly darker but this shade is perfect! It's also great to put in the crease to give some subtle definition. Then is the darker brown shade of 'Faint', which I also use for my brows when I want a neater, sharper and bolder look. It's also another good shade for the crease if you want a more obvious but matte smoky eye. Finally is the least used shade 'Craze'. I think a black is needed in this palette however don't tend to use it much on a daily basis because it's so bold! The only time I use this is when I'm doing a much more dramatic smoky eye.
Overall, I think it's obvious that I love this palette. I have never been more in love with any product before, I just can't wait to get the Naked 1, 2 and 3 in the future!!

TOP - H&M // JEANS - TOPHSOP // NECKLACE - PRIMARK // CONVERSE - OFFICE
I feel exactly like my mum in this outfit. At least 70% of my mums wardrobe is stripy, navy and white or stripy AND navy and white - she's literally addicted to striped tops, I spend my time in town explaining to her that she doesn't need yet another striped navy and white top because she already has five at home! I suppose it's because stripes are so easy to wear. This is such a simple look but I really love it, I've added my beloved primark necklace to try and make it a tiny bit more exciting. Sometimes I feel it's good to go simple.

(the only picture I could find that was close enough to a Birthday Cake!)
So today my blog is officially One Year Old! I think it might actually be a bit older than that, but I'm marking this as my blog birthday as it was when I really started to get the hang of blogging and get into the swing of things! It's madness to think I've been blogging for over a year now and even madder to think that I now have nearly 600 followers reading my ramblings on a daily basis! My blog has quickly become something I'm really proud of and want to share with people when originally I kept it as my little secret! I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who's followed me, read my blog, or just supported me and my blogging in the past year! Here's to many more years!

SIMPLE OIL BALANCING EXFOLIATING WASH - SUPERDRUG
I bought this Simple Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash a few weeks after I ran out of my Body Shop Tea Tree Blackhead Exfoliator and couldn't find another tube in store. It claims to deep clean and refresh your skin aswell as control shine. I have combination skin, leaning more to the oily side. The product itself contains witch hazel which I've always been a fan of as well as natural zinc pca - the product which absorbs the excess oil and vital vitamins too. It's a clear gel with very small grains which aren't too harsh on your skin, I've found in the past exfoliators can really grate on my skin so it's nice to have something a bit more gentle. It also means this can be used daily rather than every other day or even less frequent. The product definitely works. It helps reducing spots although doesn't quite tackle with the issue of blackheads like I'd want it too. I struggle with blackheads on my nose and haven't yet worked out how to get rid of them. The wash not irritable at all and leaves my skin feeling very smooth. Although I've heard it can leave your skin dry, so if you already stuggle with dry skin it's probably not for you. At £3.99 it's a great price which definitely wont break the bank, and the product is fine, but I still think for now I wont repurchase and instead I'll try to find a product that does everything I want it to do - keep breakouts at bay AND rid me of those horrible blackheads!
What's your favourite exfoliating wash?

COAT & SCARF - PRIMARK // JUMPER - H&M // JEANS & BOOTS - TOPSHOP
I feel like I could live in this jumper for the whole of winter, it is SO cosy, along with my tartan scarf and topshop boots I'm ready to brave the cold outdoors, although a fur-lined parka would be even better. A lined parka is the top of my 'costs lots of money but would be so worth it' list. I find big investments like coats are worth it as long as you get the wear out of it which I definitely would! Do any of you have any reccomendations?

GARNIER 2 IN 1 MAKE-UP REMOVER - BOOTS
I got the Garnier Make-up Remover after realising I needed to be a bit kinder to my skin. Sure, using make-up wipes are much better than sleeping in make-up, but they don't really fully remove make-up like products like this do. I use the product with a few cotton wool pads, firstly soaking one and wiping off the majority of my make-up like foundation, blusher etc and begin with the eyes, using what's left. I then take a second pad, soak it and hold it onto my eyes for 10-15 seconds to fully remove the rest of my eye make-up. If I feel the need, I'll then take a third pad just to be sure my face is rid of all that grub.
The make-up remover is so gentle on my skin and means I don't have to tug or drag on my eyes to make sure all the make-up is off, so no irritating eyes here! It really does clear out all my pores brilliantly and is so quick and easy to do. Although, there is one thing I really hate about the product - it's the awfully oily residue it leaves on my skin afterwards. I always feel the need to give my face a wash with water because it feels so greasy and horrible. But I am able to look past this as it's not too much hassle having to do so, and I'll sometimes exfoliate afterwards anyway. The make-up remover only costs a tiny £2.99 and I already have my third bottle waiting to be used. It's a brilliant product and I'll definitely continue using it in the future!
What's your favourite make-up remover?

L-R: STRANGE, DUST, BURNOUT, LIMIT, BUZZ, TRICK, NOONER, LIAR, FACTORY, MUGSHOT, DARKSIDE, BLACKHEART.
Now I realise everyone and their gran has reviewed this palette, but I couldn't resist joining in. One more review won't hurt anyone will it? My Mum gave me the Naked 3 palette a few days after Christmas as Santa didn't want it to get smashed up in the stocking and if you follow me on twitter or instagram you'll have probably seen me totally freak out. I've got the Naked Basics palette but Naked 1 and 2 have been on my wishlist for ages now, as soon as the third came out that also was popped on the wishlist, so to actually finally get one was pretty exciting for me.
The Naked 3 Palette consists of twelve shades, three matte and nine shimmers, all of which continuing with Naked's on going theme of neutrals. This palette, unlike the Naked 1 and 2 focuses more on the neutral pink shades, rather than the bronze/golds. The packaging follows on from Naked 2, a sturdy tin but this time with a ridged texture on the front. And as always, a large mirror and a double ended brush inside. The palette also comes with 4 samples of the famous Urban Decay Primers which claim to last you a week each.
Now for the colours... Strange is a matte cream/peachy shade, perfect for the base of your shadow. Dust is a light pink shimmer, although I've found it's hard to put all over the lid, it doesn't seem to have great pigmentation and works much better just patting over your eyeshadow to give the finished look a bit more sparkle. Burnout, another peachy shimmer, slightly darker that Dust and much less shimmer. I feel like this is a good colour for the whole of the lid. Limit is a matte browny-pink, good for the crease, as is Buzz, although it has a little bit of shimmer, it's varely noticable in this brown toned shadow. Trick is one of my favourites in the palette, a bronze shimmer shade perfect for a dirty gold smoky eye. Nooner is the third matte shade in pallete, a dark brown shade with a little bit on pinky-rose hidden within. Next, Liar, a shimmer with, you guessed it, pink undertones. I can't decide what shade is my favourite, it's between Factory and Mugshot, both bronze shimmers and very similar, just Factory being slightly darker. Darkside is a bit of an odd one out in this palette, being more grey than bronze/pink with some shimmer but perfect for the smoky eye. Finally is Blackheart, and boy is this shadow beautiful! It's a deep purple with plenty of pink shimmers in it.
I think I'll be using the bronze shades a lot more than the pink, therefore think that maybe the Naked 1 or 2 might be more suited to me, but nonetheless I do adore this palette and can tell it'll definitely get a lot of use out of it. It's currently available for £37 in Debenhams and various other stores!
What do you think of the palette?

Happy New Year everybody! Every year I make resolutions, although I don't necessarily always stick to them (that gym membership was definitely a waste this year!) I do think it's a really nice idea to aim for some thing to happen. I've come up with a few which maybe you could have too.
- Spend more time with my grandparents. Before Christmas I went out with my nan and step-grandad and as always they told me how much fun they had with me and how much they love spending time with me. Life is short and as horrible it is to think about it, my grandparents aren't going to be around forever. I want to make sure I see them a lot more often than I do, particularly my dads mum who I barely see at all nowadays as she lives a lot further away from me as my nan and step-grandad too. Even if it's just a pop in to say hello and have a cuppa, I think it's about time I started seeing them more because I always forget how much it means to them and how fun it can be for me!
- Really focus and do well on my A2's / A Levels. I'm the last child of three in my family. My oldest brother got three A's at A Level and my other brother got an A, a B and an A*, (no pressure Lucy)! I want to do my family proud and get good results that I know I can get if I work hard and if I get the results I want for my A2's I'll have a boost for when I start Year 13 in September.
- Get a skincare routine. I've never had the best skin. I get breakouts every week and it's very unlikely I'll ever be clear skinned. I use cleansers and facemasks etc, but I've never got into a routine for a long period of time that actually works. This year I want to find something that works for my skin and really knuckle down and get my skin sorted. By no means is my skin awful, I'd just love to be able to leave the house with no make-up on and feel 100% comfortable.
- Say yes. I've got a lot better at this in the past few years, but I want to get even better. There's so many opportunities out there and you can miss out on so much which is why I'm trying to grab every chance I'm given. Although it can be scary at first, you'll be so grateful and really surprise yourself and what you can do.
On Friday I'm off to see Union J in concert and MEET them!! I am super excited! How are you starting off the new year?
